H Back Sledding Harness
[nggallery id=11]
Made with 1″ wide extra strong webbing
- Comfort padding in the chest area
- Choice of colours
- Optional Belly Strap

The main purpose of this strap is to prevent a dog backing out of the harness and should be considered if your dog has a tendency towards this.
Puppies can sometimes wriggle and squirm when their harness is being put on, until they get used to it.
Others might try and back out of the harness when being attached to the gangline.
In either case there is a risk of the dog getting loose. If you choose not to have a belly strap then be sure that the dog is wearing a neckline attaching it to the gangline or a running partner, so that it is still attached to something if it ever got out of the harness.
Single dogs don’t normally have a neckline so the belly strap is quite important for them. A failsafe could be to attach a neckline back to the harness itself, but this is more stuff for the dog to wear and flap around during the run.
IMPORTANT : We need all of the steps below completing before we can make the harness(es)
1 >FOR EACH HARNESS – Fill in the details and measurements on the measuring form below the diagram.
2>VERIFY and SUBMIT DETAILS
3> THEN Make selections in the ‘Order H Back Harness’ Panel and ADD TO CART
4> REPEAT from Step 1 for each separate harness ( unless they are identical, in which case just select the number required)

Received my harness and gangline on Saturday – after Ali had made a fantastic job of adjusting it (my sibe crumbles when you take a tape measure near him!) – used the gear last night for the first time and couldn’t be more impressed. He even upped his average speed by nearly 2mph, must be the go-faster orange of the harness!
Thanks for great service I will definitely be back!

New h-back harness turned up the other day First time using h-back it fits lovely and Loki seems to prefer it to the x-backs I’ve been using. I think we will be changing the other dogs to h-backs as well now

Just tried our sibe for the first time ever in a harness, she loved it and I love the purple on her, by go three of running with a small weight you could see the joy on her face!
